On Friday I took my last exam...ever... We had two exams covering the whole year, which included 11 courses. The picture above with the white tent is where everyone at Oxford takes exams -- The Examination Schools. The white tent is the holding tent where they keep you before they call your examination number. Every student must wear the correct clothing or they fine you on the spot. For guys that includes a black suit, white shirt, white bow tie and graduation gown. In addition to that students wear a different coloured carnation depending on which exam they are taking. White = first exam, Pink = middle exam/s, Red = last exam. After we finished our exam we went punting as seen above, and on Saturday a few of us went paintballing, in the beautiful English countryside.
Congrats on finishing your exams - what a relief! Punting on the Thames (that's in Mary Poppins!)I fear California will seem waaaay laid back after this experience. I was just glad that there were minimal beach balls flying at DHS graduation (what a cultural contrast!)Enjoy being DONE Will!
